Something very manipulative, hypocritical and disingenuous about Susie Green's Ted Talk is that it's titled 'Transgender: a mother's story'. The word mother surely primes the audience to accept the story as one of motherly care. However, the word mother is exactly the type of term ideologues such as Green actively try and destroy. 'Transgender: a birthing parent's story' just doesn't have the same impact.

Fair play to EJ Rossetta.

It would be good if she chatted with Glinner or somebody like Andrew Doyle, good insight in to how these organizations are trying to daemonize people.

As much as i want Green to be in court then jail we never mention the rampantly homophobic husband who was behind this - he needs exposing and also in court then jail. Together they are evil.

Thank God Reem Alsalem has spoken out about this but the Scottish Government and in particular Nicola Sturgeon ,seem hellbent on throwing women and children to the wolves. She will never admit she's wrong and It's a tragedy for the women and children of Scotland ,myself included. Hope I never need hospital treatment or carers in the future ,and I say this as nurse / midwife who worked for the NHS for almost 50 years !! Thank you so much.,JL. Always great to get some good news.👍👏❤️

Many thanks JL. Publishing the Good News edition straight after A Week in the War on Women is one helluva contrast!

Maybe, just maybe, can we all stop holding our collective breath, and begin to breathe a little easier? This is such a good news update. Dare we say, the cult juggernaut is finally being slowed down? My god, it's taken so long, and will take at least another decade to shake out all the damage. But as Churchill said: “Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.” It has been a war. A war against reality perpetrated by brainwashed, gullible, and in some cases vicious people.

Re SG. I think Mermaids legal challenge against the LGBA was her undoing. The court case shone a light on the murky doings of the company. It ran at the same time as the stories re Molly who committed suicide prompted by unregulated sites. Suddenly the world was alerted not just to Mermaids pushing the gender agenda...but their lack of safeguarding in their forums. Last year 90% of their income came from donations. The National Lottery has frozen this year's donation, Tesco appear to have done likewise (but have made no public statement). I suspect that Mermaids like FTX is heading for insolvency. Talk about hubris!

Wow. Over to you Nicola Sturgeon - is the United Nation’s Special Rapporteur on Violence against Women and Girls only a hate-filled bigot? Or is it not possible she knows a bit about preventing Violence against Women and Girls?

Pushing ahead with the Bill after a warning that blunt would be an insane level of arrogance. That's not to say she wouldn't still try to push ahead, but this changes everything.

That's a belting collection of good news stories - thanks JL.

Just a reminder about social worker Rachel Meade's case which starts on Thursday. Rachel still needs to raise funds on CrowdJustice.

Here's what she has to say about why the case is important:

"My gender critical discrimination case against Social Work England and my employer will be held at the employment tribunal between 1- 8th December 2022!

This is a hugely significant case as it will be the first that a professional regulator is being sued for discriminating against a registrant on the basis of her expressing her gender critical beliefs.

A win will provide confidence to all regulated individuals that they are entitled to hold and express their protected beliefs without fear and reprisal of potentially career ending fitness to practice prosecutions. "

Please contribute if you can. You can find out more by going to CrowdJustice and searching for 'Rachel Meade'.

Reem Alsalem, the UN rapporteur, makes the distinction between 'trans women' and violent men who identify as men and it is from this latter group that she sees the potential threat. I disagree with this and, as we have seen on this site, most notably from the work done by J.L. (see entry This Never Happens from May 27th) there is often a link between trans identified males and sexual assault on women and girls. Perhaps polite society isn't quite at the point where it can say that out loud yet, but the time will surely come. I have every faith that the tide is turning.

Here's the little 2 minute lecture on the fallacies of "gender unicorn" in Kindergarten classrooms, directed at Randy Weingarten, classic indoctrinated union leader, perfect for anyone at Mermaids.

I saw this just now, on, of all places, the BBC! #ShockHorror

'epidemic of self-censorship' - a very powerful term, from, seemingly [I've not read her work before], a very powerful writer.

'Good News' getting this 'out there', for discussion at least, and its wavering 'source'.

Thank you for the good news. The reactions against the madness are getting stronger.

Lovely to see, elsewhere, that Stephen Watson, Greater Manchester Chief Constable has told his officers to get off Twitter and get on with the job they're paid to do.

Love the Great Danes doing a funny walk.
