Well said. Reminds me of Jeremy Vine's recent tweet where he asked: "Can anyone explain what's going on here?" with well-worn footage of a trans rights activist screeching "witch" at someone.
Vine was one of several public figures to express his support for the trans rights movement (by telling a story about David Bowie in a dress or something - I forget the details), and now he's suddenly "unaware" of the violently-aggressive element of that movement, and its grim record of misogyny and grooming.
I suspect he's one of those who understands that pretending you can't see these things is fast becoming 'no longer an option,' so now he's pretending it's all new to him. It does make you wonder what the BBC is for, if it can hear stories of rape, death threats and medical experimentation on children and still decide these things aren't even newsworthy.
What you are doing, simply pointing out the blindingly obvious, matters immensely, never more. You are on the right side of history, as were/are Socrates, Darwin, copernicus, Kathleen Stock, J K Rowling, Sharron Davies, Germaine Greer and the majority of those who lead their lives by indulging in the pesky, inconvenient truth. Keep going, we need clarity of thought and political honesty as we are yet again in the grip of a time of hysteria - must be a human thing. I made the mistake of taking a morbid peak at Owen 'bully' Jones twitter a/c earlier today, only to find he'd retweeted another gender identity extremist post which included the words "fuck the LBG".
I don't normally bother with the lottery but I've just purchased some tickets and mailed them to explain why they are getting my money. Hopefully I'll be a millionaire shortly..🤞
At least in America we will not make progress until we get rid of DEI Directors. Totally captured and spreading a culture of fear based censorship, these are the Thought Police straight out of 1984. They are in schools and universities, media outlets, hospitals, and corporations stamping out thoughtcrimes. To give just 1 example, there is a state university where each and every faculty meeting has a DEI employee in attendance to police what is said. They also create hiring policies which require judging applicants by their DEI statements. Not limited to gender DEI but certainly a barrier to putting people's pronouns back into their fantasy life and out of our reality.
A good piece, and like many incisive pieces critiquing this particular circular turmoil, contains much that's unarguable. Not that those being referred to are interested in argument anyway, bullies only want to bully and then be given the go ahead to bully more.
