Amelia Womack and Tamsin Omond think they can double-woman up to counter the threat of Shahrar Ali, their rival for leadership of the Greens
As we reported a few days ago, Ali said, on the matter of women’s rights: “I will defend and champion all the protected characteristics enshrined in the Equality Act 2010. This includes the sex-based rights of women and girls, some 52% of the population; a population we can see being persecuted in Afghanistan today.”
Right?
Let’s have a look at what Omond and her wife Melissa MacDonald think!
“I guess we’ve been feeling challenged by a load of…how did you describe it?”
“Oh! Uhmmmm…in the social media toilet, there’s been a lot of terf floaters that haven’t flushed away.”
That’s nice, isn’t it? Nice way to talk about every single woman who doesn’t believe that Eddie Izzard is literally a woman, or that Laurel Hubbard should not have stolen a woman’s place at the Olympics, or that we shouldn’t be experimenting on gender-nonconforming children with untested drugs. You’re all lumps of shit in a toilet, according to these Vichy Feminists.
I get in trouble when I spot parallels with Nazi Germany and the current-day authoritarian Left, but I don’t care anymore. When the concentration camps were still a glint in their eyes, the Nazis went about the crucial work of dehumanising the Jewish people. One of their favourite moves was to compare them to rats. Here’s an example: “When the vermin are dead, the German Oak will again flourish.”
These people must be kept from power. They have an absolutely crazy view of feminists, and their faux-feminism places men firmly at the centre. If you haven’t already done so, join the Greens so that you can vote for Shahrir Ali.
(While we’re here…many in the Greens need to answer for their treatment of Andy Healy, who was suspended for correctly identifying Aimee Challenor as a dangerous, paedophile-adjacent incel. Perhaps we can ask Ali if he will finally launch an investigation into the affair?)
Hope you’ve been able to see all the ‘I stand with Glinner’ posts on Twitter at the moment! There are LOADS of them!
I am going to make a formal complaint to the Green Party - this surely cannot be acceptable language for any candidate, whatever their beliefs.
