Didn’t think that Graham’s tilt head portrait could get funnier till I saw it on this flag.
I’m probably the last person here to come to this conclusion but it’s dawning on me recently that this strategy of posing as a TIM/NB whatever, HER being a good example, apart from the hilarity, and the fact that it’s raising the profile of the problem in the press (at Graham’s expense sadly), but apart from that it illustrates a good point. It’s not actually possible to prove Graham wrong is it? To prove he’s not a TiM. As in, any one of us identifying as the opposite sex is not falsifiable, is it?? Or verifiable. So whether the onus is on the individual to prove they are ‘trans’/nb/the last of the unicorn tribe, or the onus is on everyone else to prove them wrong - either way it’s impossible to do.
As I say I’m probably late to the party on this but the possibilities this brings are just dawning on me. This seems a really interesting disruption strategy. If men were to flood HER and similar sites with this kind of tactic it would really make the point loud and clear and help to bring this problem to a head. Albeit annoying for ACTUAL lesbians just trying to get on with their lives.
Same theory with women’s sports. I think what will bring the US situation to a head is if either all women unite, sit down on track and refuse to compete against males. Or some serious/pro male athletes flood the women’s category temporarily to prove a point.
A) It brings the ludicrousness of the whole thing home to the wider general public, but also, B) as James Lindsay talks about it just throws sand in the gears of the movement, and C) discourages companies/apps like HER from promoting ‘diversity’ and going down this road because who’s going to sign up to a dating app full of men posing as TiMs, never mind actual TiMs?! Ok rant over.

I hope there weren't any bigots present who ruined the day for EVERYBODY by suggesting something EVIL like maybe the coppers should fly the flag of St George or the Union flag instead of all their nefarious LGBT flag propaganda.
If anyone did request that then they transphobic, homophobic, bi-phobic, paedophobic, (probably) racist neo-Nazi haters. That's what the England flag represents to everybody who's sane (!)
